Tools of the Trade
Free motion quilting/embroidery work is done well with a Big Foot, Free Motion Foot, or Spring Tension Needle. Be sure to drop the feed dogs.
I also like using the Gum Erasers to lift my machine and table across the back to tilt the machine towards me. This reduces that backache we all get from leaning forward to see the needle action. This is a very inexpensive way to correct the problem.
